Here are a few favorite shots from our camping trip at Deam Lake. We loved the campsite! it was right on the water.

Mini Marathon

After completing P90X Terry and I started running and training for the Mini Marathon in Indy.

Downtown before the race began.

This is a view of the start line as we approach it 20 minutes after the gun went off for the official start.

The race has begun! Here goes 13.1 miles!

We did it!!!! Terry's first ever mini marathon and my second ever. Bum knee and all we crossed the finish line together!

Ella and Apples

Ella has found a love for apples. She is a very vocal little girl and this is one of the only ways to get some peace around here these days. :-) Give her a whole apple. She will devour the whole thing if I let her. You can't tell in this picture, but what is in her hand is all that is left from a whole apple.

I took this picture right before she giggled at me and turned away to run away from me, so I wouldn't take the apple away.

She shoved the whole thing in her mouth afraid that I would take it away from her.

This is what i got out of her mouth to give you an idea of the size that was left from the whole apple.

She currently knows where we keep the apples in the kitchen, on the island. So...she will come up to the island, stand on her tippy toes with hands on the stools, making noises waiting for us to give her an apple.

Cabin in Brown County

This weekend Bryce, Terry, Charlie, Brett, & Mike went to the Maxam's Uncle's cabin for a boys weekend! Maggie and Kelly came to our house for some girl time. Here are some pics of the boys adventure!

Bryce Mowing

Today when Terry went to mow the yard Bryce went to grab his lawn mower to help Daddy. For over a half hour he simply followed behind Terry with his own lawn mower. Wish I could have seen and/or captured this moment, but I was putting Ella down. Terry said lots of neighbors were smiling as they walked past. He definitely likes to help his Daddy.

Cupcake Fun

Charlie and Bryce have really been playing well together! It is so fun to see them with each other. I know they are going to be great friends! Below they are eating cupcakes 2 year old style at Gigi's house!

Fruit Lovers

Both of our kids just love fruit! Today we gave Ella a whole apple to hold, just to keep her busy for a few minutes. She wouldn't let go of it and just kept eating it. She kept moving her way around the skin taking little bites. Can't wait to go apple picking this fall and glad to have found something to keep this busy little girl occupied!

Rainy Day Fun

We have had many rainy and cold days lately, but are finding things to keep us all occupied!

Bryce loves to help clean!!! you can give him a rag and he will clean all the chairs and table! He is such a great big helper, and is so proud of himself when we tell him that. :)

Ella loves to scoot around on this little car that she got for Christmas. At least in this picture she is sitting the right way. She is often sitting on it backwards. :)

Can't wait till she can use it outside one of these days.

I made a little fort for Bryce and used the Fisher Price house toy for the front door! He loved it! He even put Ella's little kitchen in there, but his favorite part was going in and out of it!

Kids Do & Say Funny Things

A couple funny things that our kids have done over the past couple days.

We are in the middle, or beginning-not quite sure yet, of potty training. Our current reward is that he gets a mini marshmallow and a sticker on his chart. (If he gets 5 sticker in one day then we bring him to CVS to get a 'special treat.') So, the yesterday he went to the bathroom with Terry. When he came out he asked me for his marshmallow and one for Daddy. He also had to put a sticker on the chart for Daddy. Daddy did so good going potty in the big boy toilet he got both rewards too! :)

Ella continues to be a little stinker. When I sweep the floor I can't do it with her around because she will try and eat all the things that I sweep up! She also will not let you hang up her coat after we take it off of her. She wants to walk around and carry it with her. On the sweet side of things, every morning after Ella gets up she goes straight to Bryce's room and wants to go in and get her big brother. Very cute! she often doesn't let us do anything until she goes there. Problem is, he is often still asleep.

Today's rainy day activity was finger painting!! Bryce LOVED it and had it all over his hands. I think he was painting his hands at one point.
